MediaWeek reports that NBC News launched What’s Your iCue?, an online trivia application, on Facebook, one of the leading social networking sites. NBC News’ education arm, NBC Learn, created the game users can play for free. The video trivia quiz features multiple categories, thousands of questions, and videos from the NBC News archive.
Last Days For Gift-Filled Shoe Box Collection 11/23/2008

Since 1993, more than 61 million gift-filled shoe boxes have been delivered around the world to children living in desperate situations. Last year, almost 7.7 million shoe boxes were collected; 4.6 million in the United States.
The shoe boxes were packed, shipped and delivered to children in more than 110 countries including Afghanistan, Sudan and Venezuela. OCC is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization based in Boone, N.C.
The giftboxes may also be mailed to Samaritan’s Purse.
